Outreach

Starting on Friday & Saturday next week we will be partnering with a different village Church each week doing an outreach programme every Friday & Saturday until the end of March. The format, always subject to the prompting of the Holy Spirit will be something along these lines: On the Friday I will do some teaching in the morning and early afternoon with a tag line 'you can't give away what you haven't received'. In between the sessions we will provide lunch prepared by the local Church. Between about 4pm & dusk we will then do door to door evangelism. When I did door to door in Juba the Holy Spirit seemed intent on opening the eyes of the blind oth spiritually and physically; I wonder what he has in mind for these newt few weeks? Pray that we will be a good host to HIM.

On the Saturday we will travel in the tipper taking as many of our girls and boys as we are able to give them training and experience of outreach. Our girls will also lead worship at about 4pm prior to us showing the Jesus video. The morning and early afternoon will be me teaching as on the Friday, but watchout Safari & others be prepared to do some teaching!

Friday, Saturday & Sunday this week we are partnering with a new Church 'Bushfire' in Yei town giving a gospel message in their church from 4 to 6pm on the Friday; I think they are going door to door before then to invite people. On the Saturday our girls will lead worship prior ro us showing the Jesus video, a salvation call and prayer for healing etc. I will be preaching at their Sunday morning meeting.

Please pray that we will know his wonderful tangible Presence in all these times

February

This week 3rd & 4th: Yei town

Next week 10th & 11th: Logo village 9 miles along the Maridi Road

17th & 18th: Minyori (also known as Soka) further down the Maridi Road - Many people in this area will never have heard the gospel. It is said to be a real area of darkness.

24th & 25th: Goza village

March

2nd & 3rd: to be arranged

9th & 10th: Lanya Town on the Juba Road. We will have to camp overnight here, as it is too far to travel home for Friday night. (When I've driven to juba I tend to stop here for chapatti and the last time on the way back I was chatting with a couple of people telling them what I had been doing in Juba and a lady said 'Ah you must come here these people need to hear about Jesus'; so here we go)
